well...that would make it easier to taxi your heli out and back wouldnt it?

and now that I think of it....would make an awesome tactical UAV...

a silent crawler that can fly into and out of a hot zone...and creep around on wheels to enable power savings when able...

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

It's just a heli strapped to a car chassis. Not a true hybrid. Show us one sharing the same powertrain.

You guys are right, it's just a car strapped to a heli. No single powertrain or transmitter, just some guys with some spare time and a cool idea. It was the highlight of the event yesterday.

Yeah, looks like its strapped only by the skids which are usually just 4 self tappers, so I'd be careful on hard climbs. I mean at least remove the skids and bolt it together so it looks like one machine and not two taped together. Neat idea, poor execution.

You guys criticizing the construction are ridiculous. No one claimed it was a revolution, just hat it was different and entertaining. If you think it should be done better then build it yourself.

What cheesy POS are you flying that has the landing gear held on with self tapping screws? Other than some 250s and 450s, I can't think of any.

Not wanting to criticize the Trex 700 strapped to the top of the RC car, but we can all admit it is just a fun experiment and not really mass-marketable.

However I think you're onto something here with a car/heli, and a quadcopter like the Curtis Youngblood Stingray coupled with some wheels on the bottom driven by a common powerplant would be very cool and probably very popular. The Stingray even looks like an RC car.

EURY- Raptor50, X50 and Trex450. They fly pretty well for being cheesy POSes.

If I'm not mistaken, even your 700e doesn't use through bolts/nuts on the skids. Is it also a POS?
