Screwed, no. Probably have to spend more money, yes!
I bought a pl8 and did not realize they have their own plug style. I ended up purchasing an MPA board, the $60.00 one thinking it would satisfy all my charging needs. For the most part it did except for my 130x packs, had to make a special jumper for that. If you need that info let me know.
Some of the PL chargers do come with a small charging board, it depends who you purchased it from. I bought mine from heli direct and I did not get the small board however it did come with the flat ribbon cable that plugs between the charger and the charging board.
I don't believe the small board is a parallel charging board though.

Think I got it figured out.
I can just plug my XH connector into the PL6 and just make certain the pack negative wire is all the way to the left in the chargers balance port.

Same as I do now except I have to make sure all my plugs are all the way to the right in my chargers balance port.

Balance plugs aren't all that different.
You just need to know which pin the pack positive and pack negative belong on.

I think you will be missing out on a huge benefit of the charger you bought by only charging one pack at a time. Maybe I misunderstood how you will be charging but parallel charging is the way to go, IMO.

The Powerlabs use the JST-PA connector. It uses more narrow pin spacing than the JST-XH. So you cannot plug the JST-XH into the JST-PA connector. The FMA connector is more compact and has a thumb clip so you don't have to tug on the wires like the JST-XH plugs.

FMA selected the JST-PA connector at a time when there was no dominate connector, well before the popularity of the JST-XH connectors. Its actually much better suited for our hobby than the JST-XH. An 8s JST-PA is about the size of 6s JST-XH. The JST-PA is designed for repeated connect/disconnect. Where as a JST-XH will wear and forces the user to put stress on the wires.

The MPA is direct fit and provides 6 fused parallel connections. Most other parallel boards are available with an FMA compatible interconnect cable. http://www.usastore.revolectrix.com/Products_2/MPA_2

Or you get single balance boards, lots to choose from.

If you are like me, you'll just stock up on the FMA pigtails solder them onto the balance lead or parallel cables that best suites your charging scenario.

Got it covered...Sucks I'll have to wait for this damn adapter.

http://www.progressiverc.com/fma-pl...arge-board.html

Cannot believe a charger of this quality won't come with any kind of balance adapters.

Hobby King chargers come with ALL the adapters

No.
Mine is JST XH on both ends.
The one I ordered is JXT XH on one end and PH on the other.

Yeah, don't feel too bad. My 3010b iCharger has its own goofball cable for attaching to a paraboard, due to the support for 10S:

http://www.buddyrc.com/paraboard-ba...b-4010-duo.html

But try to find an actual 10S balance board - I'm just glad I don't have any 10S batts lol.

I lost the original one I had that came with my first paraboard, and I've just been too lazy to order another one. So I plug my paraboard into the 6S (JST) connector on the balance board and just string all the crap up like that.

Fortunately, JST XH is becoming a standard so hopefully everything will eventually just work out to using that...

The real aggravation is that I started this process early Monday morning.
I ordered the charger to get more flying time this weekend.

The place I ordered the charger from sit on it almost all week.
They printed a shipping label 74 hours after the order was placed even though we were talking before the order and they assured me it would ship same day or possibly next day after they got payment.
Answered all my emails and questions until I paid and then nothing but e-crickets.

They did use 2 Day priority mail so there is a possibility that it will arrive Saturday afternoon but unlikely since the tracking info shows it in VA now and I'm in Ohio....Still possible since the store is a 6 hour drive from here.

I also have two more lipos coming that also ran into delays.

NOW...I find out that I can't use the charger when it finally gets here because it comes with NO balance plug adapters...NONE.
I mean...even a $19 Hobby King charger comes with plug adapters.

This whole process is not the fault of any single vendor or person...except maybe ME for not doing research and not ordering from Progressive RC.

I tried to save a little money by ordering from a basically unknown vendor....I'm paying for it now.

I always use buddyrc (formerly known as EPBuddy) for all my charging crapola. They've always shipped the same day when I ordered underneath the deadline and I always get what I ordered.

Good thing about your Powerlab is, once you do finally get all the cables and crapola sorted, you'll never have to buy that charger again.

Even my iChargers, tho they're kind of cheapie, they do everything I think I'll ever need...
