Hi,
I'm planning on using the CC Edge 160HVF, the one with the cooling fan. Do u guys think it'll fit in the 700? About to order the electronics so just want to make sure.

I wouldn't see why not. Here you can see how much mounting surface you have for gear in the nose. The biggest thing might be getting your batteries back far enough to balance correctly. I have my edge 160 hv on the outside rear of the frame sides to get the balance the way I want it.

There should be plenty of room for a 160. You can either mount it on the side frame as others have done, or up front on the tray. Either way should work fine.

I chose to mount my 120 up front.

Thank u guys I was just worried that maybe with the fan it wouldn't fit. Btw do u guys think a 160 is overkill? I ask because I see many guys running the 120.

For me it is not overkill because it provides peace of mind (it is just my preference not born of necessity :-)

Many high power setups out there running on a 120 with zero trouble.

Using 120 here, no issues so far. But like Adam said if it gives you peace of mind.

It would just be real nice if we could get E700 kits to the UK.
