Credit scores impacting new Affordable Care Act insurance plans

ORLANDO, Fla. -
Many people signing up for health care in Florida through the Affordable Care Act have been shocked when they have to give proof of their credit score before they finish the process.

Anne Packham, one of many people licensed by the state to help people navigate the government's website, said on Tuesday that the credit check occurs so providers can make an educated decision about who to insure.

"If someone is defaulting on all of their bills they may not want to have them as part of their health plan," said Packham, the lead Navigator in Florida.

Participants with low credit scores could end up paying higher premiums, according to Packham, who said that ultimately the insurance company makes the call.

With all the government programs we having in debt and failing, the Obummer and his pals bring down another one upon us all. Only this one is the single largest government program in human history. This one will be more in debt and fail bigger than anything else ever put upon us.

Unless it can be stopped.

Thats doubtful.

The government take all the money from the working class and buys government bonds with that money.. The government spends that money then gives ss program iou's

obamacare will cost
1.3 T$ in over a decades, The republican party spend nearly 5 T$ in 6 years, its cost twice that to funds and run the star war program.
According to my analysis the healthcare aren't too bad after all;

like I said...read up. SS used to be on it's own. Clinton rolled SS money into the general fund. Republicans however...let him do it.
Actually, now that I think of it, it was a tie and Gore cast the deciding vote that allowed that to happen. IF memory serves....

During the Johnson administration, Social Security and other Federal programs that operate through trust funds were counted officially in the budget. This did not mean that it was actually part of the general fund, rather that it was finally recorded as part of the budget.

[escobar] If you don't know don't speak on the issue ok" congress barrow money form
the account hundred of time dating back to the Reagan administration. like I said everybody had theirs hands in the
the pot even those who oppose it a 1st.

Actually, working Americans have paid so much in Social Security payroll taxes during the past three decades that they have built up a $2.6 trillion surplus in the account. That money should make the system strong enough to cover the current level of benefits for the next 26 years. In the interim, a prudent government could restructure the program for the rest of the century, perhaps by means-testing benefits and rejiggering contributions.

But, unfortunately, Bush was right. In 1983, Congress and the Reagan administration adjusted Social Security taxes and benefits to put the program on an even keel that began to build up a huge surplus for investment. But Congress decided to “borrow” the surplus instead of investing. They’ve been using it to help pay for things that have nothing to do with Social Security

Nah, he was a democrat.

BTW: Johnson died a very unhappy man because of the mistakes he made while president. Mostly from managing the Vietnam war from the White House. Big, big mistake by both Johnson and McNamara. McNamara finally admitted that in his life story and interviews before he died.

oh....I was totally joking in every way conceivable.
I think LBJ was the single most damaging a-hole in our history....until now that is. He's just been trumped.
Carter was bad but he was harmless.
