Don't remember right off hand?

Betcha remember Hoover was the president.

Who was Speaker of the House when the President resigned in '74?

Who cares? But you know Nixon was the president.

Hey, what about the 42nd presidential impeachment?

Yeah, we all know Clinton was president.

The current debt debacle will forever dredge up the now infamous Barack Hussein Obama.

The GOP involvement will long be forgotten but Obama's name will go down where it belongs...in the gutter.

A very fitting legacy.

The Obummer.

And, its very likely to happen again.

Perhaps twice more before he leaves office.

the Dems are wailing about this as if it's already a done deal. These situations ALWAYS work out in the 11th hour. ALWAYS.
Them openly saying it's not going to happen and we're doomed means one thing: they have no intention of negotiating to stop it.

So you blame the dems for not negotiating, but when the republicans refuse to fund any part of Obamacare it is ok? That is not negotiating, that is extortion. Bith sides are doing, therefore both sides take blame for the start of the shutdown. But now that Boehner refuses to allow a vote on the budget offered up by Obama and the democrats, it is now all Boehners fault.

Sweeeet...hang tough Boehner. People will forget about the negatives associated with the Speaker of the House, but will forever remember Obama was the president that COULD NOT bring people together.

Obama will have the legacy he well deserves.

so because Boehner won't give Obiwan 100% of what he wants it's his fault??? You're OK with "well, just pass it and we'll negotiate afterwards"???? C'mon man, that's not how real life works. Look at what's happened with "we have to pass it to see what's in it".....and they STILL don't know what's in it.
And from what I've seen, there's quite a bit of softening on Obamacare. What's wrong with postponing for year??? Corps, unions and congress get exemptions, business gets a 1 years delay, but us??? How's that fair???
Postpone it for a year to make changes, strip EVERY single exemption....and you'll get people to move on to other topics.
Are you really OK with giving this government another 1 trillion in borrowing room??? Really???
And yes, the Reps are being dicks too....don't misunderstand me. But I've got a TV right next my monitor and I watch probably 12 hours of news a day......and I'm seeing the Dems as being the biggest roadblocks......biggest one of all is Reid.
