We had an old guy bring an MA X-cell 90 to our field a few weeks back and he laid down some nice 3D flights. It was a nice heli, narrow stacked carbon frame, the works. In fact, if it had a modern canopy I would have been hard pressed to believe it was an older heli. It even had *gasp* a Flybar. That old dude was laying down all the socially accepted 3D maneuvers and even some stuff I had never seen before. It just reinforced my belief that these new airframes that keep coming out don't do much to improve anything except getting to buy new stuff.

the XCell Pro-2K was one of the smoothest flying models you'll ever see. It was available in both 2 stroke and 4 stroke versions.

Used to have one until 2 months ago, I sold it. It was a X-Cell custom graphite #1004

Great machine for its time when I got it in 1997...2 years ago when I got the whiplash 90 nitro as a second heli, it became obvious that FBL and 105 power plant was the way to go and more more crisp and snappier 3D.

I haven't flown it in over 2 years, but I still have a Stratus set up and ready to fly. It was an extremely smooth heli. I would love to try it again flybarless... and electric
