Yes the SDX yoke will fit because the SSZ-IV metal yoke can be directly used on SDX but it's not a good idea to use the SDX plastic yoke on a 90 size D3.

BTW if you really want to use SDX yoke then you need the SDX spindle ball (hold the spindle inside the plastic yoke) as well.

hi petiteway, thanks for the advice.

I understand that it may NOT be such a good idea since sdx swings 600mm as opposed to d3's 690mm. i cannot fly aggressive 3d as my current flying ability is limited just to loops & inverted hovering. tats abt it. And i hv just changed the piston+liner+new hatori muffler...it's just a waste to leave the turby as it is currently.

I just want to experience what all the hirobo buddies here have experienced with the d3. since maiden (which was a huge success), this bird has been nothing but countless heartaches. anyway, I just wanna set it up, fly it rich and see how it goes from there.
