What size batteries are you using in your F6? I will be purchasing some batteries this week and would like to get an idea of what works best.

4000 to 5000mah will work fine and give you 4-6 or more minutes of flying, depending on flying style. 3800's fit much easier and you will still get 4-6 minutes.

Depends on your setup. 6s,10s,12s. I'm using 12s with 3300mah-3700mah 45c batteries. I end up with 1100-1200grams of battery weight for CoG balance.

you need to keep the battery weight to ~600g each for proper balance. I use 3300 45C's. 5:15 of mild 3D and mostly fast, big air.

What is the biggest 6s lipo you can fit in a Furion for a 6 cell setup? And best cg?

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

I ended up going with the pulse 4500 10s. they fit nicely in the frames. The weight is right around 600 grams so there shouldnt be any problem with c of g.

Guess you meant ~600g per 5s4500 pack. So x2 for 10s ~1200g total.

Cheers,

Good Day cmdiduca, I have 2 Furion 6s. I am flying Castle 100, Scorpion 4025 730KV, and 2 4s 40c 5000ma Sky lipos in series. I am flying 1600 rpm low and 2150 rpm high. I get about 6 min flight time with some fairly hard 3D. I find the helis balance well and not going HV is a nice benefit. The way the battery tray works it is better to use spit packs no matter how many cells you use. I have also flown Gens ace 5000mah 25c and Turnigy 5000ma 20c hard packs. in testing. I still get about 6 min and the packs come down just warm in hot weather 90-05 deg OAT.

I hope this helps.
