So, is anyone else on the waiting list for the Frsky Taranis? I've been on it for a little over 2 months now, can't wait for it to come in.

Not on the waiting list. But it sounds like quite an amazing radio.

I saw a vid on RC Model Reviews:

Watch at YouTube

He got a dud one that he bought from HK. So perhaps waiting for one from a US distributor is a good idea. He decided not to return it because of the cost of the postage.

Yeah, I'm on the list with the US distributor, Aloft Hobbies. I'm excited to get it. I've been using their Fasst compatible Sbus receivers with my 14sg and they've been great, looking forward to their system.

Did I miss something? When did Jim Drew release the previous radios that have been promised? Seriously, did I miss it? I was waiting for years after purchasing the xps module system and multiple rx's when they first hit the streets. All upcoming releases never seemed to reach the runway. I keep checking periodically and have always found desolation in the product pages.

You'll have a long wait. Drew's track record on this sort of thing is legendary...... in his own mind.

Patience, grasshoppers......
I've been using XPS module setup for quite a number of yrs, first with my JR 10X and most recently with my JR 9303 and several of his (not so new now) NANO receivers.... the equipment has been flawless......unlike some of the horror stories that have been reported here and in other forums as well regarding the "other" manufacturers....

I think that the wait may be over soon.....if not, no biggie..... I like what I have now and will continue to use it...

Lots has changed at XPS....if you haven't been keeping up with the latest, you should check it out......

Master, a pebble in the hand is not the same as a promise, only one can be grabbed.

I was looking at the web site. Almost all of the airplane maodels seem to be out of stock. As are most of the "Goodies", except for the Aloft hobbies T shirt.

I've been buying the Frsky Fasst receivers from them, and have had great service. Wish I could actually get a radio, but other than that Ive been happy.

i've had one since they came out.

It's awesome, once you figure out the programming i don't know how anyone could ever go back to a regular tx.

you can download companion9X and play with the radio.

Setting up a fbl heli is pretty basic, but there's all sorts of telemetry and custom sounds you can do. You can put whatever sound you want on it.

I'll prob get my head ripped off for this, but i feel like the frsky is like Windows and other radios are like MACS. In the way that with frsky you have access to everything, can tweak everything easily. Unlike other radios where you're stuck with what they thought you might need.
