First let me say that I love my G20, but I also puts lots of work into mine to get it working to my liking.

So it really depends on your buget, mechanical skills and time.

If you really really want a gasser, and your reallly really good at fixing and figuring out heli/engine problems and don't mind putting in the detail work, get one.

If your a fly by the seat of your pants, duct tape, get a bigger hammer kinda guy your going to be disappointed.

defiantly a details kind of person, I do more wrenching on the birds then flying. I have just heard some horror stories especially about the g20 with inferior parts, and parts failing in the air. these things can happen to any kit I guess. I have seen some good but a lot of bad, no ever owing a century i don't know their quality or craftsmanship. im a Thunder Tiger guy. im really on the fence about getting a g20 i want one but on the 3rd flight i don't want the tail to explode and just have a pile of junk. just looking for opinions and personal trials.

thanks for the input RM3

You want a quality heli then get a MA Whiplash gasser. No issues & have good support & parts. Granted its not a cheap heli to build but its way better quality than Century... The Radikal G-30 is another option as well...I have one that i'am thinking of selling...Need to downsize some...

fly what you have...I was able to do mild 3D with just plain ol FUT 3152 servos on a FB machine with no problems. It was only till I went FBL that I went with faster servos to get the most from the FBL system...even then I think the BLS451s I have right now would be plenty good for even a Hot G20...

Honestly lots of guys go way overboard with HV lighting fast servos...only to fly light sport with thier birds at max...its a waste.

ok, I wasent thinking going hv that as u said would be a waste for me at this time. i just didn't know if the vibes from a gasser needed a better servo or the regular full size one from a 6/700 would do
thanks brandon
