I'm not seeing a whole lot of discussion about the new 450l and I think it looks like a nice heli and want to get one but would like to hear some feed back from current owners. Usually no chatter about a heli is a good thing since there's nothing to complain about so you guys that have nothing bad to say nows your chance tell me the good things about it.

I know it's new but has anyone crashed one yet? It seems like they run a high head speed from the video I saw. I'm guessing if you hit the ground under power you are going to need a lot of parts?

Can they be run at a lower head speed without wobbles or overheating the speed control?

Does the 3GX work good enough or will it have to be replaced with something else? I should just ask about all the stock electronics. I plan to use what it comes with so do they work good?

It's awesome.. We're all out having too much fun.

You don't want to run any speedy too low but you can always get a smaller pinion or run in the 80% for lower speeds, I tried flat 80 and it worked great.. I didn't use the 3gx so can't comment on that but everything else works great

As far as the crashes not that I've heard of but this is build so strong I don't see much of the frame area ever breaking

Pros and Cons.

Pros:
1) Easy build
2) Wiring is a Dream
3) Ton of space between the frame for any fbls unit.
4) Easy to get CG right every time.
5) Easy to put the canopy on right with the batt installed
6) Handles like a bigger heli.
7) ETC Love it to death.

Cons.
1) The instruction are not done right. For example when assembling the frames together you need to put the tail block in, or you will have to disassemble the back of the heli.
2) I don't want to fly my 450 DFC pro anymore =(

I really can't find anything wrong with the heli. By far the best 450 on the market. I look at all the video and doc of gaui x3 builds and the gaui does not even come close. Anyone saying that Align copied anything are so so wrong. The 450L is so well engineer, Align must have been working on it for few months.

All I know is ide love to have one!

There are already alot of them out there and I haven't heard a bad word about them!

There is also a 3s version if you already have a bunch of 3s 450 packs.

60% of the time, it works every time!

If you like the 450 size this is the heli to get. Pure awesomeness out of the box! Haven't crashed mine yet so I can't comment on crash survivability.

3GX has came a long way. Now they are at v4.0 and I think it's as perfect as it can get. Pro pilots fly with them at competitions and that should tell you something.

The 450 L is the quickest helicopter I have ever flown. I am useing a breast x for the flybarless controller.
