I am finalizing the setup of my new Logo 700 Extreme (bought from ReadyHeli as the Combo kit about 2 months ago) and had a few questions where the manual is not clear or appears to be incorrect.

In Vbar 5.3 SETUP menus:

Tail - I'm running the supplied servo arm and ball link with a BLS256HV servo. What should the CCW and CC settings be approximately

Gov I - Is a cable from the ESC supposed to plug into to the RPM sensor port on the VBAR? Right now, my ESC cables plug into the Collective/ESC port and the Servo/ESC ports onthe VBAR

Gov II - Gear Setup : Gear Ratio says 9.772 in manual. But seems it should be 10.294. Which setting is correct?

Gov II - Gear Setup : What should Sensor Configuration be set for: Manual says 5, default is 8?

Gov II - Are the Autorotation Bailout Mode and/or Idle During Bailout generally checked or left blank?

VBAR and Sensor Mounting Location Recommendations - is it best to mount the sensor on the top rear frame mounting tray as close to the mainshaft as possible and then mount the VBAR right behind it?

Many thanks!

Greg

They should be even left and right. Basicsally you set u the tail with a few degrees mechanically to offset torque mechanically then set the limits till the slider hits the hub and adjust mechanically till the other direction is the same number
Gov I - Is a cable from the ESC supposed to plug into to the RPM sensor port on the VBAR? Right now, my ESC cables plug into the Collective/ESC port and the Servo/ESC ports onthe VBAR
ESC cable goes into the Collective/ESC port if that is selected in the VBAR program. The phase sensor wire goes into the Sensor II port. Make sure polarity is correct.
Gov II - Gear Setup : Gear Ratio says 9.772 in manual. But seems it should be 10.294. Which setting is correct?
What pinion??? That determines the final gear ratio. Go to the "expert" menu in the Gov2 tab and plug in the numbers you have for the pinion and main gear....it will calculate the correct final gear ratio.
Gov II - Gear Setup : What should Sensor Configuration be set for: Manual says 5, default is 8?
Exactly half of the motor's MAGNET poles
Gov II - Are the Autorotation Bailout Mode and/or Idle During Bailout generally checked or left blank?
Checked if you want them active

I can't seem to get the motor to start up in normal mode unless I am have 1/2 and above throttle stick. Is this how the YGE160 is programmed for the Logo 700? Idle up 1 and 2 work fine with the governor settings.

thanks in advance.

Your normal mode curve for throttle must be set above fifty percent on all points so when you flip out of hold you spool up.
