I knew it would happen. My thread got closed after yepyep made some crazy statement and personal verbal attack (has been deleted)about Mr. Fortin. Funny how this is still open when you had people on here talking about "get a rope" . yepyep you did go a bit far with the post (I feel you though)you made. Such is life. Hopefully my point has been made.

He was the one who used the system getting the post closed...

Thrue is he knew that he was false accusing someone that actually help him out "thats low" in my book.

Now karma: he just show the bad customer service that epic has behind the brand. This person at least should sell the heli just to don't give a penny more to him..

Guys, your statements are laughable. I did not ask to have the post closed nor do I care.

I made a judgment call based on the facts that I had and after waiting 3 weeks for a package that was somehow missing, the day I made this post the package shows up at the destination post office. Coincidence, perhaps.

I was hoping that it wasn't the case with the buyer, I didn't post his name or his face or any personal info and used "alleged" because I was rooting for the guy because I hate to think anyone in our hobby would do such a thing.

However, it happens here in RR daily.

None the less, I made my apologies public and private and nobody was harmed in the process.

So if I was wrong in my judgement call to make a post, so be it.

I was wrong and I apologized.

Chastise me if you wish but I would do it again to protect my business.

If anyone here placed an order, got shipment notification to the buyer and then a few hours later the same buyer issued a PayPal dispute for the very items they knew were just shipped that same day... You may think something fishy was going on as well.

I've never had this happen before and pray it never will again.

So in closing, my apologies to the person involved and if they'd like I'd even go so far as to give that person 20% off their next order.

The way I see it, is you don't order something pay for it, then decide it's not being delivered fast enough, and being you cant cancel the order, so you make a fuss, and deny it by postal service. That's plum childish.

100% Buyers fault all the way.

Interesting, when you buy something at store and for any reason you returned the store dont call you a thief!
Most of the stores iget bussiness base on customer service, if you place an order and you decide to change an dont get any response you should be able to refuse and return product.
Maybe the hole story was not read. ..

Well, if the store told him to refuse the delivery in the first place, he doesn't have to go through paypal to get his money back. Any online company will tell you, just refuse the delivery if you don't want that item anymore.

The buyer opened a PayPal dispute hours after the package was shipped.

Not days, hours.

Then, buyer refused package and contacted PayPal again so they could reverse the payment back to the buyer.

To me, it seemed fishy at best.

Now, fast forward 3 weeks and no package has been returned and no info on USPS updated.

One post on runryder and the very next day the package is at the buyers local post office back in the USPS system.

It's a huge coincidence but none the less, I put my foot in my mouth and apologized for it.

I can't do much more but please feel free to debate.

Fishy is a online store that you place an order and you try to contact an no response heck I would get scare too and cancel order an all!!
He did his part usps mess up and he got called a thief...
Once again the customer keep been accused of been thief.

A message was left on our voicemail, the call was returned within 1 business day.

We've spoken several times prior to this particular customer without any issue when other orders had been placed.

That's what makes this whole thing so sad. You accuse an established customer of yours so easily of theft especially someone who once shipped a $800.00 kit sent to him by mistake by you to California in your behalf to the correct customer. Yeah, a thief would do those kind of things for you and then steal parts far less than the value of a kit.
You were left messages not a message. When your customer left a message to cancel the order is when you picked up the phone and called back. That's when you told him that you thought it had shipped. Your customer checks your site that evening and it showed shipped. You then were left a message that your customer wanted an RMA number to return the package and you never returned that phone call and two days later your customer contacted pay pal after not hearing from you about the RMA number. The truth shall set you free. If your not willing to tell it, you really should stay silent. The more you say, the bigger the hole you dig for yourself and the product you represent.
