After the recent accident that killed a youn man on the east coast everyone is calling for some kind of protective covering for the pilots
Ahhh,
Guys, the Foo shield, invisible glass, force fields and warning lasers are simply jokes or stupid ideas being trown around.
NOBODY is asking for a wall between the heli and the pilot.

Guidelines to keep safe distance is the best policy. As Boucha wrote, Self policing is the key here.

Now back to the important matters in this thread:

I also noticed the can of "invisible glass" is made by the company "Stoner".
So, was Foo spraying or inhaling the stuff
Hey is that Hitlers plane in the background?
No, it belongs to Chuckles, who does look a little like Hitler, owns the can of magic rotor spray, but does not speak German.

He makes me spin up his big gobler rotor by hand for that extra minute of flight time.

Looks like Foo may be alive and well...
expanding the usefullness of the Foo Shield to other endeavors.

This would be a great place to hide while flying your heli...
for those that think we need protection.

So...does your spotter have a continuous spray of "neverwet" going on in front of you to create a portable Foo shield, or do you spray this on yourself to provide "FOO PROTECTION" ?

Hmmm.....
Could it be sprayed on you at the last moment, as a final close quarters defence?

Wow, with all the tragic events recently and the talk of barriers, my first thought was the Foo shield... Looks like I wasn't the only one! LOL

Didn't he have a portable Foo shield that he took to the park with him? I remember seeing it on his learning to fly video that he posted...

I would think if your spotter sprays continuously you could end up splitting atoms in front of you, or with a very high spotter . Powerful stuff.

I think it must have split atoms inside the can already, for it to last thru a 30 min flight...assuming someone spins the blades up by hand first.

I think he died when that porch collapsed on him after he hit it with the heli. Look how flimsy its built at the corner support?
