Just got mine today. I had the help of a tech from Horizon help me program my X9303! Thanks again for the help!!!

Finally got it in the air after 4 tries. I couldn't get the motors to come on. Finally figured out that "I/YOU" have to read the instructions carefully!!!

Once I got it in the air in "SAFE" mode, I flew it around a little bit. No matter how hard I tried to get it to come to me, it wouldn't!!! And then I hit "Return Home" and it did just that!!

I will try some more tomorrow with my GoPro2!!

So far, I am very impressed with it.

Although I am a little concerned with the GoPro mount. The rubber isolators seem a little scary. If they come loose, by-by GoPro! Thinking of putting 2 loops on the 2 mounts just in case.

Just call me Farmer Brown. 'Cause I know how to really plant 'em

I may grab one. I'm getting my Flamewheel going now for outside work and am thinking I may want something a bit smaller for some interior work (builders and realtors).
Keep us posted.....

Just finished flying mine, safe circle mode and auto land are very cool.

Getting the motors/ESC's to arm was a real pain. Once I get GPS lock (green light is solid) and got the throttle trim off of exactly center. left/right quick on the rudder then it arms.

I had the same problem. Not sure what I did to get the motors to arm, but it worked!

I dont like that left-right arming trick. I know it's probably for a level of safety, but come on. It needs to work like a reg helicopter.
And I'm not for a second gonna trust 4 rubber dampners to hold a GoPro.

I got a little nervous not having fore and aft control while in the safe zone in smart mode. Will take a little getting use to. Other than that, it flies great!

Actually the Multiwii and Copter Control boards that I have on my multirotors have arming features like that. Just another safety feature that you get used to quite quickly.

4 packs through it at lunch. It was windy ~15mph. Handled the wind just fine. Flips and rolls are fast. I got ~ 5min flight times before I got the slow blink warning. flew with some warning lights intermittently flashing during climbs and measured ~3.75-3.8V/cell. These are 2-3 yr old packs and are tired.

I did manage to hit the top of a tree and it tumbled through it, landing with a pretty good thump from a significant fall. Small crack on one arm, still feels plenty strong. no other damage, tough! I didn't damage the props some how.

Great reports!

Can anyone tell me how it compares to the DJI platform? I am trying to decide between the two. Thanks in advance!

I don't have any experience with the Phantom. I know they are about the same size, phantom might be slightly larger. I did see that the Phantom price has dropped so the cost difference doesn't matter now. The Phantoms I've seen flying around the area have looked great, stable in the air. I understand that you can program waypoints into the Phantom (DJI style!) - don't have that functionality in the 350QX (yet). Not sure if there are other feature/function differences.

I have flown both and they fly very similar. The Phantom is slightly larger as can be seen by this photo. I did a mini review of the Blade 350 here. So far I am really enjoying it. At night the lights look great. Hope all are enjoying it as much as I am. Chuck

Got the rudder set to 115, works much better now. Here's a video from today. Winds around 10MPH. It took me a little over 1 minute to realize my throttle trim wasn't at center

Don't pay attention to the end. I switched it to Stability Mode. I like it much better in "Smart Mode"!!!

flew mine last night around 11pm - did a flip in the dark!

I was able to mount my Swann camera also using the mount that comes with the camera - it fits right into the camera platform that the 350QX is supplied with

Ok, I must be the dumbest guy here. Already crashed it into a pole!!! The winds were pretty strong gusting over 20MPH!!! Should have known better. But I will epoxy the 2 broken areas and try again tomorrow!!! I hope the hobby shop gets parts in fast!!! Hehehe.

Because you know I can really plant 'em!

Sorry to see that. Hopefully the parts are in stock soon. Maybe the epoxy will work until then. When you get the parts let us know how they were to replace. Chuck

I got mine the other day and have a few flights on it. Does anyone know how to adjust the flight controls so they feel linear? It seems to have lots of expo as doesn't turn then all the sudden takes off?

so far I am enjoying it.

If you not breaking it your not trying hard enough
