Having a vivid recollection of your previous posts, I am confident in both your understanding of Lipo charging and how well you adapt to electrics.
lmao...yep.
I think I know about everything there is to know about what can go wrong and the safest way to handle them

Nobody has put in the time I have researching Lipo dangers

So I'll assume you've done your due diligence and built a massive lipo bunker in the back yard?

I'm just wondering how long I'll let that E Aurora sit before I decide to put it together.

Plan to use it for parts but you know how that goes

I do have a place to charge that requires no babysitting...Let it burn. Nothing but the battery will be hurt.

I think you should build it. If it takes a dirt nap, use the leftovers for spares. The big lipos aren't any different than the little ones, just more cash. You're already making accomodations to charge them, so go big or go home.

Whoops, one difference; the first time I plugged a six cell in, the arc scared the crap out of me...

I've had a bunch of 6S lipos.
Trex 500 with 2650mAh 6S
Trex 550 with 5000mAh 6S
Trex 600 with 5000mAh 6S

I've just never had a 12S machine.

Two of my Trex 500 packs were two 3S packs in series so I got that too.

I've never been anti-lipo...I just don't trust them and I know that if you use them long enough one of yours will burn....It's almost inevitable

I really wanted to wait until I had just about completely quit crashing from dumb thumbs to go 12S because it would kill me to watch a 700 burn.

I'm pretty much crash free now...Still not 12S yet but will probably be this Spring

Very likely will.

It's between the YEP 120 and a Castle 160.

3 ammo box family now. Just treat them with respect of ammo. Don't charge unattended and balance charge every couple of cycles. Check for balance each time to make sure things are not really out of wack.

I am putting two 5000 mahr lipos to sleep this morning.. hope to have some good video... have my pellet gun to dispatch them.

I have not done any formal number crunching but I assure you, you wont like a 700 size "E" bird with a 200W charger.

Saw this in your profile, Turnigy 200W/LiFe Sourse

It is a different feeling all around for me, Nitro to Electric. Still have both and am on the fence as to what I favor more. They both have pros and cons. Not to mention I went from Nitro Flybarred to Electric FBL, im sure that has alot to do with the switch being akward.

Whats up with Epic, why no love for them?

As long as Epic is represented by dicks, they will get none of my money.

I know I need a charger. Lol.

I figure 1-2 hours per flight pack.
My charger has always been for RX packs.

Oh boy! What's wrong with Nitro?

It's not too late, the Mostro unlike some can easily switch between E and N

I'm going to go with a 50 size nitro.
The Mostro is probably the one as soon as it goes on sale.
