Ok guys, I'm running a set of King Max servos on my Trex 550 and they are running super slow compared to what they should be running.
These are the cyclics:http://a20068124.oinsite.yh.mynet.cn/_d274448227.htm
They are rated for .11 @ 6v and .09 @ 7.4v inputs. I'm running them at 6v. I have the heli setup like a typical 12S setup, with a 7.4v flight pack with the Align 6v regulator running just the electronics. and a 6S running the motor/ESC. I have the Hobby Mate HB-800 gyro, Orange AR620 RX, CC Talon 90 ESC, Align 600MX motor.
It is taking the cyclics about 2-3 seconds to go from full back elevator to reach full forward elevator. I have no idea why the servos are running this slow. When I had them connected on the Ikon gyro, they did not run this slow. I don't remember right off the top of my head what the HZ rating is set too in the gyro, but I know it's no where near what they are rated for. I don't know if this really makes a difference. They are rated to run at 330hz but I think they are somewhere around the 200 or 220hz which is the highest the gyro is rated to run cyclic servos. Will this cause them to run this slow or should they be running at the speeds they are rated for?
Loving learning these 3D Maneuvers!
