Besides a different looking cooling head, are there any differences between the Align 91H and the 91HB?

My OS 70 self-destructed and looks like it is time for a new engine. The 70 is not available anymore so have to go up to a larger engine now in my Freya.

Be sure to update your gearing too. You will probably want the 12 tooth pinion - perhaps 11 depending on what main gear you have.

I'm not sure on the engine differences though - shouldn't be much since these are OS engines.

Yes I am going to change the gearing if I go with a 90.

Question on a muffler for it. At this time can I still use my SB 70 Hatori until I pick up a larger muffler for it?

The blue head is a rebadged OS 91SZ, while the black head is a rebadged OS 91HZ.

Get the black head version.

The hz is a much better engine than the sz. Coming from the os 70, you will greatly appreciate the hz version. My 70 was reliable, smooth, and easy to tune. The 91 hz is even better with a bonus in power. Two sz engines were a headache for my fleet.

Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

Don't know if this helps but I had two of the Align blue head motors, one was in a Trex 700N LE and I liked it so much I bought another used one for my Trex 700N Pro. The new one ran perfect right out of the box at the stock settings and the used one ran just as good. I used OS 8 plugs and ran only 15% PowerMaster fuel, MP6 pipes, stock shims and even though I don't do that wild 3D stuff there was plenty of power to do what ever I wanted...

The blue head and the black head are the same, head is the *only* difference. They are both OS 91HZ

The blue head is a bit narrower but taller so will fit frames that are narrower. Both run the same, I have both.
