Ok i have a tail vibration on my Radikal G-30. IT never had any vibration until i crashed it about 2 months ago. I put all new parts, tail boom, rear transmission case, gears, etc. Ever since i've had some tail wagging & the tail blades seem to have vibration in them.

I took the Torque tube off & re installed the belt drive components. I just got thru hovering it & it still has some vibration in the tail blades. You can definitely see it... But the tail wagging is not as bad now.. Ok i need some ideas on what to look for as this is driving me nuts. The tail blades are in balance & weigh the same according to the scale...

Any help would be appreciated...

also check your drive train alignments...sometimes after even a rough landing the bottom frame will bend allowing the clutch bell to be out of alignment with the clutch shoe (both spinning in slightly different rotational axis)causing vibrations that are picked up by the gyro...seen it happen alot with my G20s...this seems to be an issue as the bottom frame holds the engine and the top split frame sides hold the clutch bell items...alignment and even gear mesh on both the G20 and 30 is very critical to vibration control next to tuning by what I have experienced.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

You haven't mentioned changing the tail blade spindle, but I'm sure you must have... during reassembly does the blade thrust washers have different ID's ? Sometimes people mix them up & put the smaller ID brg race on the outside by mistake this causes a tail vibe.

Balanced installed in grips?
sometimes after even a rough landing the bottom frame will bend
and or break.

Im in the middle of replacing mine that has a barely noticeable hairline crack given a hard auto/landing after loosing tail servo.

Last photo is the bottom of the base. Talk about invisible crack and undetectable while mounted.

Frame is not bent but useless to me.
