I will probably be getting a 550 very soon but i am confused, the kit comes with two sets of propellers 8 and 10, what are they both for and what do i need to know about them?

Hi

10" is for 3s battery
8" is for 4s battery

You decide.

And yet I use the 10 inch props on 4S with great results...but I do have a full video suite and gimbal to weigh it down. I think the 8 inchers are for aerobatic/general flying with a light weight on 4S.

Hi

What sort of current draw do you get with the 10"?

My motors get pretty hot on 8" with 4s..... But it is >100F here in Dubai....
How are your motors?
