If it's in fantastic condition, somewhere between $2k & $3k I'd guess..

They are great woods bikes from what I hear. I have a KTM 200 EXC, I love the 200 platform.

Dad just traded his kdx 200 for a 13 ktm 300 the dealer gave him 1500$ for the kdx which he only paid 2500 for 5 years ago. I would say not worth much more than that. On a side note that ktm is one nice bike with elect. start. Dad always been a woods rider and I like the motocross side of it.

My Neighbor has a KTM300 with electric start and it is sweet. I do not ride that much anymore so I was thinking of selling mine and buy a nice Trex full suspension mountain bike.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

One thing that would be nice on my KTM 200 is E-start!

I mean, I can usually start it on one or two kicks, but the red button of power is a nice addition

I only do woods riding myself. Last weekend I went to Supercross legend Doug Henry's house for a ride!!! I got some good video too. Good ****.

1500....maybe. 2 stroke is about dead, though I personally love them. At least you can work on them yourself. KDX is an awesome bike for the woods.....

I know love 2stroke. But like you said its all going to 4stroke now. You can still get Yz250 new in 2stroke still. May just keep it it does not cost anything.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

I rode the 300 last weekend and you can tell the difference in weight vs my crf 450. I still like the smell of 2 stroke and I dont think their dead theirs still a bunch of man. still producing them plus your starting to see more and more at the races. Still cheaper to repair than a 4 banger.

Two stroke are far from dead!

I was at an event last weekend, 200'ish bikes, about 75% were 2t.

The ktm 300 and hoosaburg 300 witch are now the same company are in such demand in my neck of the woods you can't even get one for woods riding their is simply no substitute for the 300 !! I ride a ktm 450 and it is only because of having enough 300 that I ride with that I can even ride it . I always have to get gas from them to make it home and yes I have the largest tank available on it !! I have already put my name on a 2014 hoosaburg 300 for this year couldn't even get one last year !!

that's a good number.
Last year I sold my 1999 RM250 woods bike (Pro-modded everything) that had sat with zero time since 2002 for 1200.
I put new fuel in it, checked the air and when the guy came to pick it up, it fired the second kick. I took it for a rip around the field and loaded it up for him. Scared the crap out of him and his kid (they're moving up from quads).
I swear....I wanted to cry watching it go down the road.
I never would've quit, but we lost all of our riding area when the state bought hundreds of square miles, fenced it off and turned it into a preserve. I used to be able to ride right out of my garage and into the junk in 30 seconds. Unlimited riding. Took all the wind out of my sails.

Damn, that sucks ^^

Good deal on the KDX.. I had to look up what a Trek was. I see it is missing one key piece of hardware - a motor!!! hahaa

I would be lost if the state took my land.. I have prime singletrack about 4 miles from my driveway.. Very lucky. You can move up here to CT if you want some good riding!

my best bud and old riding partner (and fellow R/C addict) travels to the NE once a year and he's always talking about how he wants to take one of his bikes up there to ride. He's checked it out and says it would be GREAT riding. He's still got 3 (YZ250, CRF 450 and a newer KTM 300). He just quit racing 2 years ago and still holds out hope to get back to it. There's plenty of riding in a few places in other parts of the state, but if you want to seriously ride around here, you have to race and I'm just feeling a bit old for that...not to mention you're traveling every other weekend and the costs. Plus I'm wise enough now not to race without good health insurance.
