...or passionate?lol...

Been struggling for a couple days with a crap fuel pressure regulator.
I've ordered the parts to run without it but just had to get out in the garage and try one more time...even though there's no chance of flying tonight.lmao...

Took the spring out of the regulator...that is NOT an easy task...stretched it out a little and bent the actuator arm up a smidge and TA DA....She's alive.

The regulator is now closing when I shut it off.
I leaned the idle mixture a smidge too...It just barely got a light mist on the garage floor after running a minute or two...Like a sneeze maybe.lol....

Got it and now I can rest...I'm gonna sit in the garage for a little while and enjoy the glorious smell though

I literally never use the word literally right.

McKrackin, my shop is even messier. When one bench filled up I added another bench, after 4 benches I have run out of room to add another, so I guess I'll have to clean off a little corner on one of the benches, just a little space.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

lol...If you notice...That is already four benches built at different times that run down the center.

Now there's a 53 foot semi trailer parked outside and stuff from the garage is being piled in it

Your shop looks nice btw

It's neither...
It's Heli-itis coupled with the addiction of an inhalant. The inhalant being combusted nitromethane.

Sure better than bad teeth and waxing your car a 3am

Wow, I was thinking You Win", but then I remembered I built a 60X30 foot outside shop and now I am filling it also with welders, saws, gocarts, lawnmowers, old forgotten projects, friends stuff that I'm supposed to fix (I'm always saying "I can fix that for you.".

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Gyro - your shop would drive me insane. I have one Stanley Vidmar with harware and misc stuff.. thats it..if I don't need it.. I find someone who does.. or it goes in the trash. I have literally thrown boxes away in the attic that haven't been opened in years. If I haven't used it in a year, there is every chance in the world I don't need it. I burned an entire couch in my burn pit one night because it was taking up space. I salute both of you.. because my need for cleanliness and organization keeps me up late sometimes.. paired with my obssession for all things mechanical. Everything has to be put back where it came from before I leave the garage/shop. Could be from 14+ years of tool control being shoved down my throat by the Air Force. I have to account for everything before I go to bed..

Craigdieslemac, yeah, guess we both need to find a middle. Seems every time I throw out stuff, a few weeks later I am saying "darn, I need that gadget for my next project."
Last week I put out an electric trolling motor for trash pickup. The control and steering had been destroyed by salt water corrosion but I pulled it from a dumpster for the DC motor for future projects. Had it for 2 years and finally during a short fit of cleanup I tossed it. Felt bad but someone picked it up befor the trash pickup, so I feel good that some one may use it for something.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I know the feeling gyro.. I used to have a problem getting rid of stuff, and I would bring home more stuff that I thought I would need. When I got too much stuff to keep it organized, my need for cleanliness took over, and its been with me ever since. Guess it was an internal intervention. I feel like if I really need something, there is someone who always has it, online or around town.
