My friend has an older stock Raptor 30 V1 with the TT36 engine, Futaba T8UHFS radio and similar vintage radio equipment installed. He cleaned the whole thing up last fall after moving and ran a tank through the engine.

He has offered to sell it to me but I have no idea where to even start on pricing. I have a R30 V2 so I could use some of the parts, the spare engine and maybe the radio gear for a SPAD or something. I don't really need another R30 and assassinated gear though.

Picture album -

I could use some help pricing this and if anyone is interested in it PM me.

The equipment shown is exactly correct being listed as vintage...
If I were you, I would consider exactly what you could use, if you even want any of it..
The radio, even though it was one of the better ones in it's day.. it is about worthless with the advent of 2.4... not many 72mhz flying anymore...(BUT they do still work)
As far as the heli goes, you might get some spares from it, BUT again, by todays standard pretty much worthless..
Same goes for the entire package.. the flight box and starter equipment you might be able to sell off to a nitro flyer...again probably at about 1/3 or less of the original cost..
Truth be told, I am 100% certain that there is someone out there that would love to have that set up.. a lot of people learned to fly on heli's that were on 72mhz and ONLY a 30 sized heli...
Maybe you could take someone under your "wing" and just use this as a stepping stone in training someone to fly that is not as priviledged as most on here..
Just MHO!!!

Good Luck, Stan

If your plan is to use the V1 as parts, just understand that the frames and several other parts do not interchange.

People are able to sell old 72mhz transmitters on e-bay all the time.
