just had a mishap and replaced the loops, main shaft, main spindle on a rap 30 am trying to re-track the blades but having trouble! question is if the blade grips have slop when moving them around can that be the reason I cant get the tracking right? also I can move the blades up/down and looks like the bolts aren't tight in the spindle, as far as I know the grips were replaced right, I can also move the blades up/down like somethings not tight, hope I explained that right

with the blade grips off and put the spindle thru the bearings it moves around like somethings worn out but cant really see anything wrong

Did you put V2 grips on it?

+1 on the V2. If you are not flying the V2 (with all of the V2 features), you risk woof-n-poof and other issues.

+2 on making sure you have all V2 parts.
Also double check bearings, spindle size, and dampers are lubed really good, and not worn out.

the V1 grips are the same ones that were on it, and the spindle assembly is correct, I just cant get the damn blades adjusted and been messin with the long and short rods the past 1hr and their all equal in length, will get one blade adjusted do the other one and the pitch reading is different,I ran into this problem b4 but forgot how to fix it, can a warped blade screw things up?

Did you weight and balance the main blades?

Are you saying one of the main blades are warped? That would definitely cause problems.

Well, that's good because the frame gauge is about 5 degrees off. I would just zero pitch one side and mark it and only adjust the other side till it tracks.
