CGY is the best system I have ever used and the easiest by far, but I have one issue with it, the tail is solid, but When I make elevator flips, the tail will move at least 45 to 90 degrees.

Trex 600N DFC
CGY 750 V1.31

Tail and cyclic gains are 50 in idle up ((all stock))

Try upping your P gain for the tail to the point of wag, and then back it off just slightly. I was looking over my gains and I have a lot more cyclic gain than you do. On my Outrage I have close to 75% on the cyclic and I think I am at 60% on the tail. Are you adjusting it through the transmitter? Also, what servo are you using on the tail?

Ok so it is not your tail servo. So it is most likely the gains. Also, I was thinking about this what do you have the FF mixing set at. I have heard of kicks happening when that is not set correctly.

Did you set your tail in Normal mode before you switch it to Heading Hold?

Update,
tail gain 60, 70 for cyclic with and swash F/F 6, Flight mode 4

knightofcarnage: no I didn't because I think we don't need too, with old Gyros 601 and 611 I did and it must.

Do I need to change any thing in Aliron, elevator or ruder steeing such as F/F or CMT either?

Nothing is changed, I still have this issue?

You do need to do a rate setup on the tail first. If you do not then the gyro is working more than it has to. As for your gains that is a good place to start. If your servos are not getting hot then I would keep upping them until you get wag then back off some.

As for the FF mixing I have mine set to 5. I was told that was a good place to start and see from there. Also make sure you have to rot tracking on as well as the direction is going to proper way.

As with any gyro setup and even more importantly with HH gyros, you MUST trim the model MECHANICALLY in normal flight mode. NO subtrims, change the rod length to get it perfect. Then it will be perfect in HH mode.

Ok if you did the normal mode setup.(not sure if you still need to memorize netral point in the new firmware that is not clear any more). then your next step is pre comp. there are 2 place you need to enanbel it. 1 is the tail the other in the governor
Also update your firmware to 1.31 there was a tail bug in 1.3

Do a hard climb out and tell me if there is any nose left tendency.
I need to know if the tail wanders with the application of collective during the flip.

With full Aliron flip, the tail is solid, just it does this when elevator inputs for one flip.

I ordered the ciu-2 to update my system, do you think my issue is normal, so I made some wrong procedures?

Or I need to send the system to Futaba?
