thanks for the clip, always like watch the autogyros

there was a famous award winning autogyro pilot that died in Antarctica some 15 or 20 years ago, the poor guy got the thing upside down for some reason and he couldn't get right side up, he was in Antarctica with other pilots flying around looking for something, can't remember what they were looking for

Not 100% certain, but I am pretty sure I met him several years ago at a gyro fly in at Mentone IN.
