Actually, Obama is the one I heard talking about the "red line". I didn't hear "the world" talking about the "red line."

What I do hear the world saying is: "don't attack Syria you idiot."

90% of life is "showing up"

I didn't think that I would necessarily see the day that I would totally agree with a Russian leader but I do:

As indicated by Obama's press conference on Syria the entire world, Congress, American people, and many in his own party are clearly wrong for not supporting his retalliation of Assaad's crossing the red line he set.

Whelp, he can always revert to his favorite safety net: blame Bush.

this is what happens when you no longer have a Government for the people AND by the people....worse yet, not held accountable for anything they do nor suffer the consequences for what they have done.

Every country in the middle East (for the most part) that is at war with itself suffers almost the same issue, whats different from us here is that the people over there revolt violently nearly instantly in hopes of changing things when they don't like the way things are going. once changes are made they then see thier changes go in the same exact direction as before that brought them into civil war....in a way, this is like a pressure relief valve set on low, constantly going off.....My worry is that here in the USA, when and how badly is the pressure relief valve gonna pop?

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

It's a bad idea. They have to approve it to find out how bad an idea it is.

even if congress votes it down, he's going forward anyways, especially since he can claim support of the Senate and turn and blame it on them when it all blows up in our face.
He was going forward in the first place when somebody collared him and told him "hey, you better get SOME kind of vote on this so you can lay the blame elsewhere".
