A member of the rc club I belong to has this MA heli he is wanting to get rid of . He knows its outdated but just wants to be rid of it so he asked me to post it here to see if anyone jas an idea as to its current value or should he just toss it in the trash. He knows its old just wants to get an offer or maybe a trade for some reliable set is for his canard plank standard size servos . Again he is not expecting much .

Ah, an old X-Cell 30 with the wooden tray, vintage 1990 or so. Great flying underpowered little model. Had one myself many years ago, then upgraded to the carbon frames and plastic tray. Many parts on this model are interchangeable with other models in the X-Cell line.
There may be someone interested in it as it sits. Maybe try the vintage helicopter group out there.

Old school
With an OS 37 in it it would fly pretty good at sea level. Problem is you need main blades, engine and probably servos. When you add that to the cost of buying the ship you're in over your head. Best bet is donate it to one of those organizations looking for helis for heros!

I trained on an X-Cel 30 way back. It was a relatively easy to fly machine if you balanced everything right. It felt amazing, back then.
And then the TT Raptors started to become popular.

That was my first heli too except mine came with the plastic tray. Probably around 1995 when I got started. I sold it maybe 5 years ago for $200. Mine had the carbon frame, torque tube, and front tail rotor pinion support.

I knew Brokenlink would be on this like a flee on a dog.

He's swimming in MA X-cells.

I put a few mods on my bent metal frame over the years. Just call me upgrade. I spell it thusly: U-P-G-R-A-Y-E-D-D. Double D is for "double dose of pimpin'."

I've also got a 'clintstone' (Clint Akins) version of the X-Cell Razor.
Just needs servos, gyro and RX (and batteries) to fly, plus many extra parts. If anyone interested, make you a great deal.
