Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been pointed in this direction by a friend who has been using this site for years and swears by it.

So I've got a JR pcm9x2 controller and still using 35 Mhz (I know, shameful, but hopefully soon to change) the modulation I'm using ppm which I've been having alot of problems with, just the other day I was hovering my 450 outside my house to set the blade trim and I got interference which sent it zooming out of control into the air and smashing into my neighbours house.
I've been looking online to find if it was possible to upgrade this unit, which it is, however I've found a compatible unit on eBay which looks like the real deal but its only going for £45 and sounds like the cheap 2.4 module orange that is all over eBay but I'm not sure.
I'm attaching some photos of the module, if any of you have any information about it or experience using it can you let me know.

I have a friend that still flys using that remote just with the 2.4 in it. Nothing really wrong with it if you have a budget. I would recommend getting a new one for as cheap as they are going. Any real spektrum stuff i happen to like. JR and Futaba are nice to just depends on your preference and how much money you can spend. I recommend getting a dx8 it's not bad and happens to be getting cheaper 200 250 range. Dx6i might be something good to depends i think most are going for around 100 or so some cheaper. Hope this helps
