Anyone know why heli-world/century is discontinuing so many of their age old fuselages like the jet rangers and long rangers etc, to name a few??
Are they getting replaced by something newer??? Any reps. know??

Not sure but I would guess that since its not all models within a given make then its just an inventory reduction. Checked the Funkey website (Century's supplier) and they are listing all the same fuselages as before. It would be nice if they redo these older fuselages to more easily accommodate electric power and the more popular mechanics not to mention a more realistic scale appearance!

fuses clearence
They are using the word clearence, and I notice they are removing them from the site, as they sell them off. Just curious.

fuselages
Neh, I think they do a pretty good business. I was just curious on the fuselages, as they have sold them for a long time. You can get them from other sources, but by the time you pay shipping from other places, ... it is a much better deal to stay with heli-world / Century. I have always gotten good service from them.

Century has always had fuselage sales every few years.. I know one thing, they don't keep stocking up on the one's that don't sell well, I guess you can't blame them for that, I mean why stock 15 fuses if only 2 will sell a year, for that matter why stock even 2

fuselages
I buy one once in awhile and the jet rangers and long rangers I have aquired more than most of the other models and they sell out of them pretty soon when they come into stock most of the time. They do not seem to sit around that long. I noticed that Century has removed these fuselages from their site also today as I was looking.
They are available from other sources. I thought perhaps some redesign or something might be coming. I was just curious.

i know they are updating a lot of the fuses. maybe they are getting ready to release the updated version of the jet ranger..(like you said)
i have the updated 30 size A-109 and the detail is very fine and clean compared to the older models. i prefer their scale finish then some other suppliers who slap on .25" rivets and call it "super scale" you just have more control of the final product. their fuses are so light and so well laid up i am always impressed when i open the box. really want their sea king...

fuselages
Hope that is the case in regards to their fuselages. The prepainted ones have needed new schemes for awhile.
