You can't, the whole bellcrank system is not adjustable.

Im talkin about the servo horns...use a servo arm for the servo itself that has the ball spacing so it is lesser than what you have now.

That would screw up the quick-calibration system.

Set it to 6 or 7 degrees depending on your flying style preference. I set one up at Ircha with 7 degrees. Anything over 6 and a blue light is good. This is a style preference.

I'm thinking of trying the AR7200BX on my E700. So, are you saying that even though he's getting blue at 4 degrees, he should take it to 6 and set it there, and as long as it's blue it'll be good?

Yes, the 6 deg = blue is just a setup guide/check on your fbl mechanics. It does not effect anything itself.

From the bx manual;

"Always set the cyclic pitch to 6 degrees! This setup does not affect the maximum rotation rate of the helicopter but is only there to show the MICROBEAST the actual mechanical cyclic geometry. A wrong adjustment at this step may be extremely detrimental to the performance of the MICROBEAST. The blue color of the Status-LED is secondary and just for information."

So, as long as the light is blue at 6 deg) you are good to go. If it's close (say blue at 7-8deg) I would not worry about it. Also, it does not matter if you get the blue light at a little less than this btw (say 4-5 deg).

Main thing is to set it at 6 deg and leave it there before saving/moving onto the next setup step.

Cheers,
TomC

Take the cyclic pitch to 6 degrees on your pitch gauge.
Then see if you still have a blue lite..if you have a blue lite at 6 degrees,your fine..
Ive had heli get a red lite even and it they fly fine..
A blue just means your servo links are optimized for the best proformance but it will fly fine even if its not blue..

Successfully swapped the iKON for the AR7200BX. Never had a smoother, easier, more trouble free set-up! Blue at 6 degrees no problem! Should have just stuck with the BX and left the iKON in the box. Went out and flew it in the back yard (hover, piros, pitch pumps) felt GREAT! Hope to get to the field tomorrow and wring it out a bit...well, as much as I can with my limited abilites ;-)

I suppose the only thing I'll miss is the iKON governor, but the CC Edge 120HV isn't too bad so far.
