Hi guys I am just finishing up the set up of my 500 dfc trex, and need to set up the curves and throttle hold

The radio is an 8fg super, the heli has a 3gx, talon 90 and the original align 500 motor

What sort of curves should I be trying for ? I am a beginner that can hover and fly circuits

Thanks

Linear pitch curves in your throttle up modes. I run 30-30-50-75-100 pitch in normal.
For throttle.. Linear in normal, and whatever percentage gets you the head speed you desire in your throttle up modes. I always do one at 80-90 and one at 100
Just a baseline to get you going.. Hope this helps

Throttle curves are going to depend on what mode you use the ESC in. Will you be using governor mode?

Valid point.. I always set mine by the gov in my vbar.. By 80-90 I means 80-90% of max desired head speed and one at 100% of desired head speed. This is set in the TX either way and verified in the FBL controller settings.. Or ESC settings.
For throttle hold I set it at -5, but again, depends on your gov settings
