I believe it's only the canopy shape but I could be wrong.

There is a Formula head. Formula head and canopy. Formula head makes it non-DFC-like. Makes it a regular head.

Gaui should put canopy and formula head in the kit. Making a guy buy stuff they don't want stinks...

Is there a kit that has the Formula stuff instead of the regular?

No that is what I meant... You have to buy kit, buy Formula canopy separate and Formula Head separate.

Basically Gaui makes you get a head and canopy in the kit you don't want. They probably have a bunch they need to move... It definetly hurts sales. With the stuff guys want it is one of nicest flying and strongest built machines made. It is still just as nice machine without a formula canopy that is pure looks but those do matter. Head can be argued that is how it flies.

I'd love to see Gaui sell it barebones no servos and no gaui vbar and no 4035 motor no one wants. Those go in Logo 600's. Put the formula canopy and head in the box and take out old head and canopy.

I'd probably own one if they did...

Well, that kinda sucks, I may wait until Gaui gets it the way pilots want it!

There is nothing wrong with the stock head at all! It's actually my favorite of the two!...

When you say its your favorite, what is the difference between the 2 and why do you like the stock one better?

the stock head is around 11mm lower than the formula head so it's faster... the formula head feels smother and a little more precise..

The Gaui team pilots don't all use the formula head some do and some don't... It's all preference.

Thanks for the input, I may go for a kit with the regular head, I have seen kits that include the Formula canopy.
