Hi Folks

Got my E640 into the air and I like it.

- NEU 1915 1.5y
- CC 110 HV - cutout @ 21 volts
- NAZA-H w/GPS
- 10S3P A123
- 13 lbs
- Flight time 14 plus mins
- Slant cut main and drive gear
- Brass tubing adapter 5mm NUE to 6mm slant cut

Temperatures after 14 min

- Motor temp = 136 degrees F
- ESC temp = 89 degrees F
- Battery temp = 78 degrees F

Seems like the power system is running with reasonable efficiency.
Plenty of collective response.
Running low rotor-head speed (need to tech).

Charging

- 2 Dell DPS-500CB power supplies in series for 24 volts
- Revolectrix Cellpro PowerLab 8 (v2) 1344W Workstation
- Rapid A123 parallel charging

Once I have all testing completed it will be a Jet Ranger

I am starting with Funkey 660mm Carbon Fiber Reinforced Fiberglass Main Blades.

I will take photos of the final charging setup and screen capture power curves.

For the price the E640 is a good value. The workmanship on the parts is excellent and turn-around on parts is fast.

The gears and bearings are very smooth!!!

I agree. It is extremely well designed.

I have around 30 flights or so on mine now running a 12S lipo setup. An absolute pleasure to fly.

Wow 13lbs , I like what you are trying there but that is heavy. My stretch with 12s 3300s that I have run 660 wide cords and 690 on weighs 9.45lbs ready to fly. I am running 1660-1760 and getting 6.5-7.00 minute flights and using 70-72% of the packs . Have you figured out your headspeed yet. What is the flight pack capacity of the A123 setup in mah? Take care.
