Len Mount Trophy Day - Sunday 8th September 2013.
If it's half as good as last year, it should be brilliant!!
The presentation by Len of his Scale Trophy to the Best Scale in Show. As always, no specific schedules need to be flown, so ANYONE has a chance.
Fly what you think is a Realistic/Scale type routine. Make Len and other judges believe they are watching the real thing!! So try circuits, hovering, ground manoeuvres, turns, climb-outs and passes etc....
All this plus a round of static scrutiny add up to the top places.
Also nice selection of EMHC trophies up for grabs too for Scale and Sports-scale machines and flights.
Catering and Toilet facilities again this year.
Contact G-Limo or myself for further details.

We will post pictures later in this thread.

Big P.S. INSURANCE IS MANDATORY and will be checked BEFORE enyone can fly at the club.

Metal Blades will be allowed with the BMFA Certification only.

Field Address

Bower Lane
Eynsford
Kent
TN15 6XT
That postcode will take you a to a house past the field, so if you reach the house then you past the field.
it will be signposted from the Main roundabout after the M25 Brandshatch turn off.

from M25,
Take Junction 3, Follow signs to Brands Hatch A20
Straight ahead first roundabout by Golf club,
Straight ahead 2nd Roundabout by Harvest Petrol Station ( WJ King Vauxhal Garage) called Main Road
As you start to go up hill turn right ( sign for Enysford village) into Eynsford Road
Carry on for a approx mile, into the High street,
Turn left into Bower Lane.
Follow for 3 miles past a couple of farms and a field with cows in.
The field is on your right - you should see the wind sock.

Thanks Ian,
Thats the problem when you copy and paste, i changed the date but not the year..

I am really looking forward to this event, it has been an awful year for me, in and out of hospital, heart surgery, then death of grandad who i was really close to,then back in hospital for a suspected malignant lump on my neck, then back in and became insulin dependant, then my sister gave birth to a dead baby so another funeral, then a situation came up involving my lads which knocked me for 6.
So flying was the last thing i was thinking about!

Finally all behind us!

Was up the field this evening cutting the sqaure, got Alan's Ok to do it, looks good, fed the kids with some picnic stuff and then had a bonfire and watched the stars till 10pm.

Hi Matt

Sorry to hear about the rough year you've had.

Sadly I wont be able to make it this year, my brother is getting married this weekend so I will be away in Northamptonshire and despite the offer of bribes his missus wouldn't budge! A great shame as it's one of my favourite events.

Bring on 2014 as this year for me has been very slow in respect of flying, too busy at work and working on the house saw to that.

Hope you all have a great day, pictures and video a must please.

Cheers

Lee

Well,
We dodged the rain, a few of us ended up flying the rain against a black sky and in strong gusty winds.Last year we hit 30C this year we never got above 16oC.

Had some excellent flying and had a really nice time, good to see the usual ones and brilliant to see a few new ones.
I will post up the results later.
but here are some pics from the day, i have done loads of video and will upload these later.
thanks again to all those who came especially when the weather was forcasted to be poor and especially Len Mount.

Here is the first batch of pictures from the day..

Plus a general over view of the flight line and pitt area, along with the Scale Entries.
We had 16 entries in total 12 of which flew in the scale comp.
