I just put together my new goblin 700 and for some reason when I was putting the swashplate on the main shaft, it wouldn't go, I literally had to beat it just to get it on flush with the main shaft. Any ideas?

Man if your swash doesn`t slide on the main shaft
like butter, Beating it Is Not The Answer.

Did you look to find out why it did not fit first?

Do not use it! Sab is usually much better, but I have personally witnessed other brands swashes with poorly machined center swash balls myself. Some of which wobbled! It sounds to me that either the ball is distorted or the hole was machined incorrectly. It should be smooth and tight. Not loose, nor hard to move on the main shaft either. Also, while you are at it. Sab has had some serious issues lately with their swash bearings being loose. Make sure the swash halves have absolutely 0 movement but roll easy and true. I just went through two of them that had way too much play in them. And a rash of horrid grainy notchy tail shaft bearings.

Man I wonder what's going on with their quality control. I always considered them as top of the line, that's disappointing. Although I did sand the top of the main shaft a few days ago with with fine sandpaper and it's smooth now but still. It's depressing

I know RcHeliCanada dropped their entire Goblin line due to product problems here this summer. And sent back their remaining inventory. Sab chose to ignore this dealers pleas to correct those problems and take care of their customers. So Jeff Barrett, who owns RCHC dropped them in pure frustration.

Still overall as a production heli, who else runs abec 5 rated bearings at this pricing and gives the quality they do? No one. We are kinda stuck here.
