Nice reference.

I don't use APPs much, but when I have, I use the dove-tailing method to keep the pair together. It has always seemed adequate to me.

That is weird. I have been using Anderson Power Poles for many years, first in ham radio, then in RC. I also use them to build 3D printers and other projects. The housings (or any other part) have never failed. I have glued some sets with CA, but you can also use a roll pin in the small hole between the mated housing pairs.
