Hi - I'm running the following and having issue.

-ESC - new Hobbywing Platimum 100a ESC
-Hobby RPM Sensor.
-Mini Vbar w Pro software for gov function
-Motor - I had a new Zpower z30- 1100 I had laying around which had worked well in the past, so I put it in again in the Logo 5003D

The problem is headspeed is constant, but very low and not matching the headspeed programmed in the Vbar and switching between idle 1 and 2 shows no change in RPM.

I feel my wiring is correct, but will mention.

RPM sensor wire is ported single wire (sensor) to RXA, ESC in RXB (on board BEC at 5.5V) and and red and black wire or RPM Sensor in RXC .

Sorry for long post - any ideas would be helpful and appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

If the governor doesn't give the set headspeed have you entered the correct number of motor poles and gear ratio?

in gov1 menu what do you have set for your input port?

also, yes...remember to 1/2 your pole count. for example 8 pole motor, enter '4'

if it ain't broke, break it.

I will look at my Gov 1 page and advise.
What should it be set to for reference?

all this is correct and I picked up the 2 and 1 LCD program box,
I have the 1.09 version software, but Mr. Mel's site says to use the 1.08 V2 software?

I can't get this headspeed w gov. to work and all settings seem correct - if I have the 1.09 software, I would assume its good and the later version.

Any ideas guys - I'm stumped.

when you split the phase sensor wires, did you move the signal wire to the TOP (closest to the vbar label)?

calibrated the ESC (gov1 menu with the sliders at the top)?

when you spool up on the bench without blades, which lights are coming on in the software? is it seeing the sensor? are the ramp up and 'gov' lights coming on?

also, i assume you're getting your setup info from here:
http://heli.dacsa.net/MrMelSite/VBarESC.html

hard to troubleshoot from afar. can you take a good closeup picture of how your vbar is wired up, and screenshots of your main vbar menu, and gov 1 and gov 2 screens?

if it ain't broke, break it.

Im not completely sure about the 100a esc but the I know this applies to the hobbywing 120.
I believe you need a common ground from program lead cable negative on the esc to the negative side of the battery that goes to the vbar.

Use only the black wire from the program lead and not the whole lead. Make a extension that plugs from esc to spare slot on vbar and make sure its just the ground wire.
