As far as the world order and the bible goes nobody here is claiming to know the future date of events to come but only that the signs of the troubles to come discribed in the bible are just more prevalent then anytime ever in history.
LOL what a crock of crap.

WW1 WW2 was way worse then this. Not to mention all the other bad times for the last few thousand years.

ALL through history times have been bad for certain people

I know your dumb as hell and ignorant at that. But it is called perception tom.
History is full of events that can mirror the end times decribed in mythology.

Of course it is not a choice. Assuming there are no Hindus here, does anyone here seriously think they could ''choose'' to believe that it was the Hindu creator God, Brahma, that created the universe?
Exactly.
Or "choose" to:
- believe the sun orbits the earth?
- believe that the earth is flat?
- disbelieve the germ theory of disease?

When the world leaders are atheist.
what will the outcome be?
No doubt some of them already are, depending on who you count as a ''world leader.'' While Tony Blair was a Christian, marching off to wars, only 38% of the population in the UK believe that there is a God, and there is no reason why politicians should be any different. Much the same is true throughout western Europe, although the poorer east is slightly more religious. Military spending in most west European countries has declined considerably over recent decades, while the Christian US and Christian Russia continue to build up their military forces. China is also starting to become more religious, after lifting the ban on religion, and is also starting to build up its armed forces.

It's not just Christians either. Since IIRC the countries that most recently acquired deliverable nuclear weapons apart from China, are Israel, India and Pakistan. North Korea tries, but its religion that demands worship of the Dear Leader isn't so popular outside of North Korea.

Particularly fundamentalist Christians believe that people are inherently evil, and that the world is becoming a worse rather than better place. They believe in a doom and gloom end times scenario and believe that is what we are approaching.

Whereas atheists, who look at the world as it is, rather than through the lens of any religious book, can see that over the long term things have improved enormously, and that people are inherently good rather than inherently evil. Atheists understand that we are evolving further away from our primitive and violent cannibal ancestors, and that over the long term, mutual trust and respect between people is getting better, rather than worse. While the world is bound to end some day, and be swallowed up by the sun's atmosphere as it turns into a giant dwarf, atheists have no reason to believe it should come to an end any time soon.

Would two world leaders have more mutual trust and respect, if they both believed the other was inherently evil, or if they both believed the other was inherently good?

Would a world leader be more likely to think it's worth building a better world for future generations, if they believe the world is likely to continue to exist for billions of years, or if they believe it is likely to end in the relatively near future?

So as the number of world leaders who are atheists increases, I would expect to see less animosity, and more trust and respect between them. Less wars, bitterness and hatred, more cooperation and a better all round understanding of reality.

How do we know that gravity is true, and that it's not scientists who have made it up?

We can't see gravity, and Newton's Law was shown to only apply to low gravity environments when it was superceded by Einstein's Theory of Relativity. So how do we know that Einstein is right, given that it's ''just a theory''? These liberal scientists got it wrong even though they called it a ''Law,'' and now they have replaced it with a ''theory.''

Look at all these liberal schools, still brainwashing children with Newton's Law, even though Einstein showed that it wasn't true when it comes to high-gravity environments.

Newton is the God that atheists worship, and gravity is their religion.

If the Bible said it was god-glue that keeps everything in place, we could conceivably be having this discussion now.

I don't believe much of anything he says.

Having said that, I could care less about his religion.

I do care about the job he holds and what he does. Or, what he does not do.

Well then there you go. You can't count on him as being a world leader that's not an atheist.

I don't reckon Mitt Romney's an atheist though, and I do recall him saying during the Presidential election debates, that as President he would want to increase military spending.

The middle east is the most religious region in the world, and also the most violent, although Africa surely comes a close second both in terms of religion and violence.

As you are probably aware, the dictator in the Wahhabi Police State and his regime were unhappy with Obama for not attacking Syria, which all started with the atheist British parliament voting against joining in. It's no coincidence that the Wahhabi Police State, the most oppressive and radical Islamic state in the middle east, is the main sponsor of jihadis in Syria. They also spend more than their less radical Muslim neighbours spend on their military forces, relative to the size of their economy, and as such are the only Muslim country with a modern conventional army and airforce, and the Christian US is only too happy to supply them with their weapons.

Would Romney have been as likely to let one of the US's main allies down?

The world would be a much better place, if all world leaders were atheists.

Some Jelly Bean's for your Palm Sunday : Awake O Sleeper - Come too the River
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

If I had the choice, I would make sure our military force was the largest, most well equipped and trained force in the world. Military cut backs would not even be a part of my agenda other than controlling wasteful spending.

In my mind, weakness is no deterrent to violence. Our world is a dangerous one.

So much for "fiscal conservatism" and "limited government". Aren't you the one constantly whining about the government turning on its people? And you want to make it more dangerous?

Right. And it's a characteristic of Christians to be afraid of practically everyone around them - they see enemies and devils all over the place they need to protect themselves from. So they tend to strongly favor cost-no-object military programs and as many as they can gouge up cash for.

Dennis' blank-check method of funding the military we've been doing since the Reagan administration and, well, just look at the bang-up, red hot economy we've got as a result!

The Roman empire went through feast and famine by doing it this way periodically depending on the emperor who was in power at the time. Some developed military strength through true fiscal conservatism and stimulation of the economy (Eg. Trajan) and some just looted the treasury at whatever cost to build more and more military might, like the Republican party here in the US. And well, we remember what finally happened to Rome...

What part of "they shall not say "don't you understand ? As I said you can't read or comprehend any of this out. There is no contradiction in this verse. Even with you trying to take this one out of context there is no confusion Except in you own mind.

Really dusty?
Just to educate you to the lyrics of the song here they are

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!

Refrain

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.

At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Refrain

Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

Refrain

What the saints established that I hold for true.
What the saints believèd, that I believe too.
Long as earth endureth, men the faith will hold,
Kingdoms, nations, empires, in destruction rolled.

Refrain

Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise, and that cannot fail.

Refrain

Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud and honor unto Christ the King,
This through countless ages men and angels sing.

The only war waged by Christian soldgers here is the war aginst Satan and his minions!

I know out cant read and comprehend but I expected more from you.
These words ring just as true today as they did when they were wrote.

You cannot legalize morality. It's internal not external. You either have it or you don't.
