iKon has BAILOUT!
Not exactly, it does have a self level, but that is not a bailout really.

In the end it boils down to what we all like, and I like a VBar, I tried iKON and it didn't make me want to sell all my vbars... It was good, had some things that were awesome, and other things I thought were not...

I like the V-Bar...there are very few systems that give me the confidence in the tail that the V-Bar does.

I have flown quite a few other systems and the cyclic is usually always pretty good...the easy part...the tail on the other hand typically gives me the chills when doing anything fast-backwards...like it's about to blow out unexpectedly at anytime (and typically it does)...kind of how you felt if you ever flew a CSM tail gyro back in the day

At the end of auto's, the blades are spinning maybe 800 rpm. What FBL controller will handle this without falling over like the guy on Laugh In? Or is this just setup? I have seen this happen many times.

The only controller I've had that liked to tip over in that situation is the CGY750, and even then it could be tuned out. Ikon and vBar are both solid there.

I have seen the Spektrum AR7200BX (?) do it as well. Nose dive.

I guess I will get a VBar as well since I have an XG14. Does the JR XBus mode B actually work with the VBar (UDI) ?

I'd certainly think so. The screenshot I saw of the XG14 had it listed specifically as VBar mode.

I think what esco is saying is that the VBar corrects so well it makes the pilot job really easy...

It 'll be easier for me if he typed it in Spanish, but the funny thing is Im starting to understand the big fella

FWIW, the FBL I fly now feels just like the Vbar.

"spot on my man the computer take away 80% what you would like your heli to do; "They need to relax the dorn thing so the V-BARs
can feel more like a flybar so that the unique input/control is still upto the pilot.

You hit it right on the head, this why purist or advanced pilots prefer other FBL units,
The bar does robotic rather well.
For being the best feeling unit imo the IKon get top choice for me.

I disagree, many of the top pilots prefer the VBar.

I agree with willy.

If you feel like the FBL unit is flying your heli instead of you...it's because you don't have it setup properly.

Just like any computer, it can only do what it is told!
