Any suggestions why I get Overcurrent shutdown on Starter or occasionally on Gas Valve on my Ver10 Xicoy Fadec.

I can run the Ignition starter power up to 100 most times if I choose but it's normally at 85, but when the overcurrent issue starts, running the Starter at 75 still gives an overcurrent. (changing to a fully charged 2 cell Lipo doesn't seem to help either)

I have 2 Machines here 1 (Mk2 MW54) sinks about 8.5 amps to start the turbine moving - The Problem machine (Mk3 MW54) sinks about 9.6 amps on start up.

This error is bugging me as it's not a permanent condition. My MAJOR concern is the overcurrent error is occasionally on cooldown too, so the damn thing stops cooling once the starter overcurrent is flagged.

Is there a hidden parameter in the V10 I can adjust up slightly to give a bit more room for error??

do you have any binding on the starter motor? is the motor old?
are the turbine bearings free? is the switching device ok? as its drawing more current on start up than the other good starting turbine

No binds, Turbine spins freely, Works OK most of the time with no overcurrent fault.

It was the overcurrent on the Gas Valve which I haven't see before..

No changes to any parameters...

Just throws a wobbly and refuses to start without an error leave it 30 mins and the thing runs up 20 times in a row!!

It draws 1 amp more than the good one - the good one has an older turbine and an older Starter motor./

Does anyone know what amp the Fadec senses the Overcurrent at on the starter??
