Save yourself some $$$. The silicone spray is neither the answer, nor will it fix your problem.

Just how tight IS the belt? If you push on it up between the front of the tail boom mount and the pulley, how much slack is there?

You can run it pretty loose, when you give it a light push with an allen wrench, it can be loose enough to go maybe 3/4 of the way towards the belt on the other side of the pulley.
