Good one
Although the percentages may be skewed some what, from the photos that I saw online, align did appear to have a big presence. If not the biggest.

With that said actual market share numbers would be interesting.

That looks about right, from my observations at IRCHA 2013, that seems to be the amount of Align owners.
Now I know for a fact that Align makes SHI$$Y helis, they are money making helis, meaning they make money for the Align at the expense of our sorrows. TSA has similar designed helis that cost the same but are three times better made for hardcore 3D flyng, so is Compass, and Miniature aircraft, but not many people were flying them as Align.

I previously posted the identical chart earlier this month.

I found 38% is a more accurate number, not 73%.

Align makes SHI$$Y helis
I started on an Align clone printed with Align branding, it's not an Align. They are the least expensive parts supply out there, and guys crash. If you afraid of crashing because parts are pricey your not going to progress because you won't take as many chances, you hold back more often than not if it's not Align.

If you can't see it's a joke to show everything down to Curtis Youngblood as having 0 percent presence at the event, its absurd.

Me thinks Align is in for a wake up for its "In your face" attitude. Happens in every industry, just like the lambo dump.

The industry is really coming of age with offerings from all over the world competing for the heli flyers buck with good quality product, MADE IN THE USA.

The pacman is more representative of how Align eats everyone elses parts supply for breakfast, but Align is the most cloned heli out there so bootleg parts are as plentiful, and cheap.

0% JR helis there?
Really Fastbinder??
Saw at least there 10 including both of mine and I wasn't actively looking for JRs.

Looked like more goblins and mikados and multi-rotors then anything else there.

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

They know what they are doing. The parts they showed us cutting wood was BS, HOG WASH, I bought all those black gears for all of my helis 500 to 700 and they stripped easier that the old gears did.

I have no issues with align white gears so i never tried the black ones. align is offering an alternative. Most brands don't even try.

+1 fly, enjoy, crash, repair, buy CHEAP and fly again ...
this is why ALIGN is the KING of the planet.

Yeah, dude i am not the only one at my field, I bought about 6 sets each of black front gears for my 700, 600pro,500 and several mains for my 5, many main gears and for all helis and they maid no difference, on the flip side, I have been running the same black cross cut main gear on my 7HV for a year with a few crashes under power and still have not stripped it, and I fly the piss out of it with my over powered electric system. Like I said I started with Align and I used to defend them tooth and nail until i started owning other brand machines and took notice of how much money was spentWASTED on Align parts caused by failure(Align strategic design flaws)FU$$ING stacks of sheared off main gears on my Align 700E V1 V2 V3, gears I had them stacked up in addition to Align booms made from rice paper and suported by thin Chop stick struts. Granted i ran after market motors such as 4525, 4530, 4926...sizes.
Curtis, Whippy, TSA, 7HV never complain like that BI$CH of a design from Align.

That might have been accurate 2-3 years ago, definatlly not accurate for IRCHA 2013.

I dont understand you bashing align and praising compass. The 6hv i had until a few months ago looked like a toy compared to my align models. have you flown the new trex 600 pro and 700 dfc? Align isnt the best in the market and surely isnt the worst.

The percentages are definitely not accurate, and AerialSkyCam had already posted before.

But this is a great cartoon. PacMan is the Winner
