Cool...

I am looking into Pivot Head glasses to replace the spy glasses I use now.

I literally never use the word literally right.

You can't cure stupid
I fly at a sanctioned AMA field with airplane guys. It was late afternoon one day and this planker unloads his dogs. They are what I call rat dogs(small), but they start snipping at me like they are going to bite. I look him in the eyes, and he says, "don't worry they won't bite.

I told him if they did that while I was flying. I'd shove my shoe up his dogs @ss. He didn't say anything, but he did put the dogs on leashes. I later found out that other people had complained about him for using the flying field for a place for his dogs to take a sh!t.

Like I said, you can't cure stupid.

Here's something that has worked in my garden to keep rabbits away, when nothing else would: hot cayenne pepper powder, sprinkled liberally near my plants.

Now, if someone could get to the field early, and .....

I was flying my 700 out in a field to show a few of my friends the Heli.
We were in a field next to one of their houses and he had a rottweiler.
The dog kept going out after the heli when it touched down, so I brought it back up so I didn't hurt the dog or the Heli. My buddy tried to get his dog but couldn't... on the third time, I lifted back off and the dog was standing right under the heli ( prolly 25' in the air ) Switch to S1, a quick hit of neg. collective yielded a rapidly dropping heli... the dog ran and never got close to it again.

hahaha.... I realized time inside won't drastically cut my SIM-Time (knock on wood!)...RC Heli has given me quick reflexes & thinking!!!
The few replies have really summed it up ... some people aren't just as considerate.
For example ..just the other day, I was shipping my helicopter to Australia (was nutz! $112.70 for an X5 double packed... guess I packed too well. 10 lbs 7oz) & another going to Canada. Some guy walked past me, cut me off, went in the door .... didn't even bother to keep the door open for me since I two big packaged. But I wasn't betting on him holding the door for me anyways ... used my fancy martial arts footwork to push the door in while still managing to keep the door open for a lady that was behind me the whole time...and get this: didn't even say a signal word to her personal door man. OH WELL.....does two negative make a positive? I didn't give it much thought than but I see some people just don't care and are oblivious to everyone around them....

as someone implemented: "POOR PARENTING!!!"...... LOL

Yes people are nuts. We where flying at a AMA sanctioned field, had 2 people 3ding helis. A family pulled up and out of a van jumped 4 kids with a soccer ball ran out on the runway and started kicking the ball around with 2 700s over there heads.

They where very lucky the people that where flying at the time had their helis under control and just moved them out right and left and landed. If other people that where at the field where flying the out come could have been AMBULANCE, police and the paper.

It really amazes me how little care some people take with their kid's safety, not to mention manners.
It is always the appropriate thing to do to ask permission before intruding on someone's (flying) space, and good parents would want to teach that.
