first night canopy

This is my first night set up..I think I'm gonna add more green to the canopy.
Boom is blue & the tail fin is red..

Very nice. I really like the spacing you chose on the LEDs.

I also found it helped me with orientation to have the skids done with one side one color the other side another color.*** Real Pilots BEAT the air into submission! ***

Looks great I just finished the body lights on my 5th Heli last night just have to do a set of blades and its good to go. Its my trex 550 this will be the third time on this bird I've crashed it twice once a dumb thumb a d the other esc failed. Anyway I put a brushed esc on the lights so I can make them blink or dim/bright looks really cool can't wait to get a test flight on it.

I put a brushed esc on the lights so I can make them blink or dim/bright

Can you share how you did that...wiring diagram, or explanation, please? I'm not the brightest when it comes to circuitry.*** Real Pilots BEAT the air into submission! ***

Sure, Its a small little ESC for brushed motors that has 3 leads 1. For power from a 3cell Lipo 2. A plug for your RX (plug has 3 wires make sure to remove the center redwire as not to use power from your 3cell )3. and a plug for your lights. I ran the RX wire to to my AUX2 Chanel then used the dial on my DX7S As a dimmer switch. I think there's a thread on this in another form so you might wanna Google it for a little more detail I'm at work ow or I would take a pic so you could see it......anyway hope that helps

I'm not sure it matters but the one I used I got from a LHS for about $10

Kinda looks like this on but this is way to much to pay as mostly motors are brushless these days
