Where to drill the hole in my OS 32 and 46 carbs

I have got hold of a used OS 46SX-H, and wonder exact where to drill the hole in the carburetor (and the diameter).

Lately i have buildt a vintage Hirobo Shuttle powerd by a OS 32F. And i found this to suffer from the same problem. I have to run it over-rich on the low needle to avoid leaning in the midrange. Does anyone know how to fix this problem aswell?
