Yes that is a good way of isolating the vibrations from the VBar sensor but the vibrations are still there in the heli and can cause other issues such as fatiguing components. I would suggest trying to loosen the gear mesh a tad, your heli will thank you for it

I thought the vibes were reported to be low. Plus, as I ?recall this heli had the beastx on it and that was working fine. The beastx isn't known to be all that vibe friendly.
Seems more like something else is wrong.Team POP Secret

I figure the possibility he bumped it or something. You have to know how to interpret the vibe readings to know. Main clue is that the beastx worked. On 2 helis too, a logo and a trex.

Well gentlemen I had both beastx and vbar on this machine to clarify. I was trying to see if i had something wrong with the sensor or it was a vibe isssue. The actual yellow bar on the vbar vib analyzer was very low but the red was a little bellow half, so i thought hard landing could do this or i bumped it. I have put a velcro strap on the vbar and changed to the foam tape and it is works great, now the beastx just worked no problem. This is my first vbar and i like it, but for people on here saying that the beastx is not a good unit is sadly mistaken. I thing the beastx has a better tail imop, but overall the vbar feels more connected as a whole. The vbar vibration analyzer works good and cant believe that little vibration caused that much headache, and this is not a vbar vs beastx debate, it is my opinion. I think the vbar is better for the tunability and overall feel, but the beastx also does a fine job. IMOP you cant go wrong with either.

I didn't mean the beastx is not a good unit. Only that if it didn't have vibe issues, I'd be surprised the vbar would. Don't get me wrong. I'm no vbar fanboy. I think it's a good unit but not here to put one against the other at all. Neither are my favorite honestly.
Anyway, do your logs show anything notable?Team POP Secret

So far the vbar feels the best bob , the actual log files show very low active vibration and the red scale was half way come to find out the sensor didn't like the mounting tape I was using. I am using a foam tape from my work it is a firm type of tape no more slow wag , and the vibration analyzer us showing very low actual vibes and the red scale less than a 1/4 up the scale. I have a piece of Velcro strap on it and works great. I would like to try a msh brain or a ikon, I will keep the vbar and sell the beastx
