Looks like the tail is 68mm. Sorry if it's already been mentioned

Anyone know if that's too big for the Pro? If it is (more than likely) I hope Align makes them in 61mm for us people not ready for a new bird.

I notice the size of the tail too. I never any tail blades bigger then 61 , smaller yes. I think it will still be ok but unill i test can't be sure. I will test it when my kit comes in.

Just got this kit and I am in heaven.

This kit is the biggest improvement amongst the T-Rex line since the Pro came out. Back then I thought the Pro has finally made the 450 size a serious helicopters, but this bad boy totally raised the bar.

I have also watched how the flagship 700e evolved, and a lot of the slick new features from the latest 700e were transferred to this.

I'm going to fly the heck out of this one...

This is a flag ship model for all the 450 size on the market. I can't find one thing i don't like about the design. Good Job Align and keep it up.

Well it will fit but you will have issues in sliding in the battery. You might have issues with Velcro interfering with the rails.

450 dominator

Hello all this is my first post here. I purchased this heli in exchange of the 450 pro dfc.

Love the heli and is much better than the 450 pro and dfc. However, I noticed 2 problems during the build.

1) the tail servo tray is slightly smaller.

2) the pitch servo linkage to the dfc system rubs with the canopy.

Other that these 2 issues, it's a heli worth the upgrade. Feels more like a 600 when it files.

The tail mount is the same as from dfc . You can use the metal upgraded one from dfc. Now how do you have your ball links installed? Give us a picture. They should be installed on the inside of the servo . I have about 5 mm clearance between the pushrods and canopy.

Just got mine with two batteries. Also got an ar7200bx to ise instead of the 3gx. I feel a cough coming on so i may need to leave work early to get it flight ready!!! Haha
