A spacer between the umbrella gear and the bearing would be the best solution. That way the gear cannot move back away from the front drive gear assembly.

Umbrella gear is wide separate from front conical gear...
The umbrella gear has all cumulative momentum from tail blades... So, you better adjust the interference or... You need to buy a bunch of gears...
