Nice find Bobby,

Did you ever get the bind sorted out? How much did it bind? A little or did it lock up the grips? It looks like the got rid of the step and used a bigger i.d. on the thrust bearings.

Have you flown it yet?

FWIW there are 2 versions of the new spindles you can buy. 1 with the new thrust bearings and spacer as shown and another that is just a pair of the new spindles.

new feathering shaft seems to be shorter?
I have installed the new feathering shaft, but if I use the included brass washer it is shorter about 1.2 mm and the bolt contact direct with radial bearing and not touch the shaft.
It is wrong if I will install without the brass washer?

The brass washer is a must. Without it, the radial bearings inner and outer race will contact the thrust bearing.

Did you remove the washer that was between the radial bearing and the grip when you disassembled the original feathering shaft? The assembly should only have one washer per side. Do not use the old brass washer.

Double check to make sure everything is seated. Make sure the thrust bearings are going all the way in before inserting the radial bearing. Are the grips and head all Align parts?

All parts are Align, only dampers is KBDD. I have measured the old shaft and the new one, the new is shorter for about 2mm.
